Disney World January 2019: Day 5.
Saturday, January 12th:
Started out today at Animal Kingdom.
It was magic morning. So I got on Kilimanjaro Safaris at 8:18 am. I went on 4 times so I could get some good Lion photos. I also met Cast Member Devin. She asked if I was the one who had been on Racers and that she has seen my Disney People video. Of course, I had to get a selfie with her. Too kind.
I went on Expedition Everest Single Rider Line. And what a wild ride. I tucked my lanyard in my shirt but it came flying out. Or I should say my Test Track Numbers came flying out. I got most of them back. Had to make a few new numbers. I forgot how wild this ride was.
I took the bus to Epcot. I got to Test Track at 12:10 pm. The ride was down. It had been down for 2 hours at that point. I got a selfie with my Test Track Friends.
Test Track was up and running at 1:00 pm. By 3:00 pm I hit the 200 mark. Cast member Taylor gave me a button celebrating the milestone. The very next ride, they had a breakdown. I was in a car when it happened. They turned all the lights on and I thought I might get evacuated. But after 20 minutes they got the cars to move. I went on a total of 17 times today. On the 18th ride, the power went off the entire ride. I finally got my evacuation. The crew was all happy that I reached my goal, in that area. My total is now 211. Well on my way to 250.
I got some Fish and Chips in Great Britain. The one food item I always need to get on each trip here.
I then took the boat to Hollywood Studios. I came to this park for an after-hours event: You pay to enjoy the park from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Everyone who purchased the event got wristbands. Besides being allowed to go on all the big rides you also get free Popcorn, select sodas, and ice cream novelties.
