“Touch of Disney” 03/22/21

I arrived at Harbor Blvd temperature check at 9:30 am with my friend Tara Cree, visiting from Oregon. They let us in at 9:37 am and started temperature and bad checks at 9:45 am. I got in line by the entrance of Disney California Adventure. Tara did not have a ticket, so she left to shop in Downtown Disney.

They let us in the park at 11:45 am. I walked over to Cars Land and got very emotional walking down to Radiator Springs Racers. I got a photo with Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater. Happy to be so close to the tide in more than a year. I also got photos of Ornament Valley.

Now time for some of the food offerings. I first got the chicken gumbo. Very good. I walked over to Smokejumpers Grill. I got the Monte Cristo and Pulled Pork Mac and cheese. Also very good.

Walked over to the Legacy Passholder area to get my Legacy magnet and Touch of Disney button.

Got lots of photos with the Disney photo pass photographers. Got some Cozy Cine ice cream along the way.

It was a fun time. A few people recognized me and even saw the Disneyland Insiders and my friend Amanda working at World of Disney.

Hoping I can get a ticket for the opening day of DCA on April 30th and get on Racers to start my ride totals again.
