10,900 and 450

I always like to hit milestones at Radiator Springs Racers and Guardians of The Galaxy: Mission Breakout, on the same day.

I found out about a month ago that my friend Tara Cree was coming for a visit. She is from Oregon and is coming to see her best friend Carlene Beckius. Carlene is a Racers Cast Member. She introduced me to Tara 3 years ago.

Tara was in the 8,000 car. She and her family were in the 10,101 car. I also got to go to Las Vegas, when Tara celebrated her 29th Birthday.

That is why I wanted to time the 2 milestone rides, for when she was here.

Friday, September 14th:

I drove to the Disneyland Resort after work. I made it into Disney California Adventure at about 8 pm. I was wondering if my friends Heather and Jon Frost were playing in the park. They were and I asked them to come over to Radiator Springs Racers. Tara and Carlene were playing in the park and I also texted them to join us at Racers.

We got in a car at about 8:40 pm. The car was Cranberry #4. We went to Ramone’s side for the race and won the race for ride number 10,900. We got some photos after the ride.

We walked over to Guardians of The Galaxy: Mission Breakout. We went inside the Fortress at 9 pm. During Halloween time, they change the attraction at night to Monsters After Dark. That is also the name of the song that is played during the ride. We all got on gantry lift: Lower Bravo. Astrid was the Cast Member who dispatched us for my 450th time on Guardians.

Heather and Jon went on their way to play Pokémon. I hung out with Carlene and Tara. We went to Monsters, Inc. We went over to Disneyland. We first went on Star Tours. Tara was the “Rebel Spy”. The 2nd time she was picked for that role. We walked over to New Orleans Square and got on Pirates of the Caribbean. Then we ended the night on Haunted Mansion. The attraction was set up as The Nightmare Before Christmas. I like this set up the most, for this attraction.

It was a great time celebrating these milestones with some of my closest friends. They all have been a big part of my adventures and they know I love them all very much.

Next stop 11,000 on Racers and 500 on Guardians.
